In 2004 Em was involved with adult ministry at the synod level. At that point, he developed the idea of another band. With the support of the Minneapolis Synod and Westwood via Pastor Tania, the Synod Senior Band was born the next year with 19 members, rising to its current membership of about 100. (We were over 100 before Covid, but are down to 90 now).
The Synod Senior Band rehearses at Westwood Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park every other Tuesday April-October from 10am to 12:15pm. Join us for a great musical experience! Join the band!
